Stanislav Libensky and Jaroslava Brychtova are two of the most influential names in the development of glass art in the second half of the 20th century. They were married for almost four decades and during this period they created together a style and method of production using the technique of molded cast glass, which starts with sculptures in clay that generate plaster molds in which glass is melted for a few days and then cooled slowly for up to one month, giving the glass a deep consistency and a strong and nuanced coloration. The pair of artists is present in the current exhibition at the Litvak Gallery in Tel Aviv with two works.
